今天专门整理了近期GRE中出现了5个超难词，并且根据真题的语境给出了相应的英文释义和辅助记忆方式~

prepossessing
prepossessing adj.吸引人的
【英文释义】
creating a favorable impression; attractive
【助记方法】
词缀pre=在……之前；possess 占有；
在……之前就占有了你的⼼的，即“有魅⼒的，吸引人的”。（就是让你看⼀眼，你就⽆法⾃拔了hhh）
【例句】
Clean clothes and good manners are prepossessing.

perspicacious
perspicacious adj. 有洞察⼒的;判断⼒强的;有识别⼒的
【英文释义】
having keen judgment or understanding; acutely perceptive
【助记方法】
per=through; spic=spect=看；-ous为形容词后缀，表示数量多、程度深；因此perspicacious表示“可以看穿的”，即“有洞察⼒的，有识别⼒的”。
【例句】
She is much too perspicacious to be taken in by such a spurious argument.

obstreperous
obstreperous adj.喧闹的；任性的
【英文释义】
noisy or rough, esp in resisting restraint or control
【助记方法】
Ob- = 对着，相对; -strep = 打鼾声，发出噪⾳，拟声词。
引申词义为“对着吵的”，即“吵闹的”，后⽤于指任性的。

You know I have no intention of being awkward and obstreperous.

extemporaneous
extemporaneous adj.毫无准备的；临时的
【英文释义】
① spoken, performed, etc, without planning or preparation; impromptu; extempore
② done in a temporary manner; improvised
【助记方法】
ex=out；tempor=time; -aneous 形容词后缀，表示“有……特征的”，所以这个词的根本含义是“没有时间的”。
eg：an extemporaneous speech 即兴演讲

These communities use extemporaneous forms of administration at the discretion of the minister, who need not be a pastor.

presumptuous
presumptuous adj. ⾃以为是的,专横的;冒失的
【使用语境】
If you describe someone or their behavior as presumptuous, you disapprove of them because they are doing something that they have no right or authority to do.
【助记方式】
pre=在……之前，sump=take（如 assume 承担，假设，就职），-ous为形容词后缀，表示数量很多的。因此这个词的根本含义是：在（别人同意）之前就肆意拿走的，引申为“自以为是的、专横的”。

It would be presumptuous to judge what the outcome will be.
