Issue例文

In all actuality, I think it is more probable that our bodies will surely deteriorate long before our minds do in any significant amount. Who can’t say that technology has made us lazier, but that’s the key word, lazy, not stupid. The ever increasing amount of technology that we incorporate into our daily lives makes people think and learn every day, possibly more than ever before. Our abilities to think, learn, philosophize, etc. may even reach limits never dreamed of before by average people. Using technology to solve problems will continue to help us realize our potential as a human race.

If you think about it, using technology to solve more complicating problems gives humans a chance to expand their thinking and learning, opening up whole new worlds for many people. Many of these people are glad for the chance to expand their horizons by learning more, going to new places, and trying new things. If it wasn’t for the invention of new technological devices, I wouldn’t be sitting at this computer trying to philosophize about technology. It would be extremely hard for children in much poorer countries to learn and think for themselves with out the invention of the internet. Think what an impact the printing press, a technologically superior mackine at the time, had on the ability of the human race to learn and think.

Right now we are seeing a golden age of technology, using it all the time during our every day lives. When we get up there’s instant coffee and the microwave and all these great things that help us get ready for our day. But we aren’t allowing our minds to deteriorate by using them, we are only making things easier for ourselves and saving time for other important things in our days. Going off to school or work in our cars instead of a horse and buggy. Think of the brain power and genius that was used to come up with that single invention that has changed the way we move across this globe.

Using technology to solve our continually more complicated problems as a human race is definitely a good thing. Our ability to think for ourselves isn’t deteriorating, it’s continuing to grow, moving on to higher though functions and more ingenious ideas. The ability to use what technology we have is an example

· 6分——skillful;

· 5分——clear;

· 4分——generally clear (with minor errors that do not interfere with meaning);

· 3分——unclear (with major errors or frequent minor errors that interfere with meaning).

“Going off to school or work in our cars instead of a horse and buggy” 就不是个完整句子;

“Our ability to think for ourselves isn’t deteriorating, it’s continuing to grow, moving on to higher though functions and more ingenious ideas.”

“Take a look at our surroundings and reflect on our bring-ups, and evidence is everywhere. From early childhood, our parents shape our earliest understanding of the world. In fact, even a lot of dispositions during adult life can be traced back to how we were brought up in our early days. As we mature, we enter school, and then our teachers and fellow students start to affect our attitudes. Some of us become sociable, while others feel alienated, and these are all functions of the daily interactions within the school context. Later in society, we are still constantly influenced by our fellow co-workers, and we feel the same kind of peer pressure just like in school.”

“At the same time, there are students struggling in their own majors. Especially those who have been in a very difficult major, for example math, might find it extremely challenging already to pass the required classes. Therefore, any extra assignment in other fields would be too much to handle. Even though the values of learning more is there, we should not mix it up with the students’ main obligations. They should at least be able to finish the tasks in their own fields. Under this scenario, the prompt’s suggestion might actually harm these students’ development.”

“It is regarded that government is for and by the public, so popular benefits even will be prioritized. To be true, public welfare is the ultimate goal of every government globally but the issue is whether the folks’ ideas are not rational so that the decision made by these will not be injurious and threaten their own interests.

The people who support that government should unquestioningly carry out the will of the public, in fact, simply notice that popular opinions are self-regard thus promoting the policies to be more practical. However, self-regard, especially after the exaggeration of oceans of population, will become extremely selfish and then chaotic while some truly prudent suggestions are swollen by this ‘political farce’.”
